Fuse base – reliable installation protection

The STI-10.3x38-3N fuse base is an element used to mount fuse links in electrical installations. Designed to work with fuses with dimensions of 10x38 mm, it provides effective protection against overloads and short circuits in 3-phase circuits with a neutral conductor (3P+N). This is a key component in protection systems, both in commercial and industrial applications.

Mounting and functionality

The base design allows for easy mounting on a DIN rail, which is standard in modular installations. A width of 3 modules allows for efficient use of space in the switchgear cabinet. The enclosed design increases safety, and the optical trip indicator facilitates quick identification of a blown fuse. Additionally, the base has a lockable feature to prevent unauthorized access and manipulation. The IP20 degree of protection provides basic protection against touch and contamination. When placed in a modular enclosure, the degree of protection increases to IP40.

Application and compatibility

The STI base is compatible with fuses with gG (general purpose) and AM (for motor applications) characteristics. gG fuses protect against overload and short circuit, while AM fuses are dedicated to loads with high peak current, such as electric motors. The ability to use different types of fuses allows you to tailor the protection to the specific needs of the installation. A rated voltage of 500V makes the base suitable for a wide range of network applications.
