Acti9 SBI Fuse Disconnector for Circuit Protection

The Acti9 SBI fuse base is a low-voltage fuse disconnector designed for industrial and building applications. The device provides overload and short-circuit protection in electrical installations up to 690V AC, offering high breaking capacity for single-phase circuits.

Its single-pole construction allows precise control of individual circuits, making it an ideal solution for extensive installations requiring selective protection. The rated current up to 50A (In) enables use across a wide range of applications - from powering automation devices to protecting lighting circuits.

Construction and Technical Parameters

The device features a compact modular design with a width of 1.5 DIN modules (26.5mm), allowing efficient use of space in electrical distribution boards. Overall dimensions are (width) 26.5 mm x (height) 107 mm x (depth) 70 mm, with an installation depth of 50.5 mm.

DIN rail mounting ensures quick installation in standard modular distribution boards, eliminating the need for additional fixing elements. Screw terminals allow connection of both rigid copper cables (1 cable) and flexible copper cables (1 cable) with cross-sections ranging from 2.5 mm² to 25 mm².

The tightening torque for the connection is 3.5 Nm for PZ2 screwdriver type, ensuring a secure electrical connection while maintaining ease of installation. The pollution degree is 3, corresponding to typical industrial conditions.

Application and Compatibility

The device is compatible with cylindrical fuse links measuring 14x51mm, supporting two basic characteristic curves:

gG curve - general purpose - provides overload and short-circuit protection, ideal for standard circuits powering electronic and lighting devices.

aM curve - for motor applications - specializes in short-circuit protection under high inrush current loads, suitable for applications with electric motors.

It finds application in diverse environments: from building installations and light industry to OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) equipment. It is particularly effective where selective protection of individual circuits is required along with the ability for quick fuse link replacement.

Safety and Compliance

The product meets the requirements of standard IEC EN 60 947-3, confirming its compliance with international safety standards for low-voltage fuse disconnectors.

An optical trip indicator enables quick identification of the fuse link status - in case of fuse blowout, the user receives immediate visual information requiring service intervention.

The IP20 protection degree ensures basic resistance to finger contact and access to solid objects larger than 12mm, which is sufficient for standard internal mounting in distribution boards.

The device operates at temperatures from -20°C to +60°C, while storage temperature ranges from -40°C to +80°C. The operating temperature range enables use in various environmental conditions.

The inability to simultaneously disconnect the N pole and the absence of a locking function for this model ensure operational simplicity while maintaining full functionality as a basic fuse disconnector application.
