Fuse disconnect switch – reliable installation protection

This fuse disconnect switch, with a rated current of 63A and a 3-pole design, is a key element of any electrical installation. Designed to work with fuses, it provides effective protection against overloads and short circuits. DIN rail mounting simplifies installation and integration with existing distribution boards. The device is ideal for both industrial installations and multi-family buildings and commercial facilities.

Construction and mounting

The disconnect switch is characterized by a solid construction and compact dimensions – a width of 6 modules (4.5 modules according to some sources) allows for efficient use of space in the distribution board. DIN rail mounting is quick and intuitive, which translates to time savings during installation. The IP20 degree of protection provides basic protection against contact and ingress of solid objects. Screw terminals allow for secure and durable connection of wires with a cross-section from 1.5 mm² to 35 mm².

Parameters and application

The device is adapted to operate at a rated voltage of 400V, and its electrical endurance is 1500 switching cycles, and mechanical endurance as much as 8500 cycles. It can operate in an ambient temperature from -5°C to +40°C. The four-pole design (4 poles) allows for complete isolation of the circuit during maintenance or repair. The lack of an optical trip indicator requires a visual check of the fuse status after the circuit is switched off. Please note that the disconnect switch is supplied without fuse links – they should be selected appropriately to the characteristics of the protected installation.
