The iC60L-C6-1 miniature circuit breaker is a reliable solution for protecting electrical installations against overloads and short circuits. Thanks to its C tripping characteristic, it is ideal for circuits with inductive loads where higher inrush currents may occur.

Design and materials

The circuit breaker is made of high-quality recyclable plastic, aligning with the concept of sustainable development. The device features a compact design with a width of one DIN module (18mm) and a mounting depth of 44.5mm. Insulated screw terminals provide an IP20 protection rating, guaranteeing the safe connection of single-core wires with a cross-section of 1-25mm² and multi-core wires of 1-16mm².

Double clips allow for easy removal of the device from the front without tools and without the need to remove the pin rail. The design also allows the device to be removed from the DIN rail without tools, significantly simplifying maintenance work.

VisiTrip and VisiSafe signaling system

The innovative indicator system provides full control over the device status. The white-and-red VisiTrip indicator signals whether the trip occurred due to an electrical fault, enabling rapid identification of the cause of the failure. The green VisiSafe indicator informs about the physical state of the contacts - when visible, it confirms that the contacts have opened, allowing for safe maintenance work in the downstream circuit.

Operating parameters and performance

The device operates in ambient temperatures from -35°C to +70°C at a rated voltage of 230V AC/DC and a frequency of 50-60Hz. The rated current is 6A, and the C tripping characteristic ensures immediate action when the rated current is exceeded by a factor of 5-10.

The rated short-circuit breaking capacity according to EN 60898-1 is 15kA at 230V, while according to IEC 60947-2 it reaches 25kA. The device's power loss is only 1.3W, which translates to high energy efficiency of the installation.
