iC60N circuit breaker – reliable installation protection

This single-pole iC60N-B20-1N circuit breaker with a rated current of 20A is part of the Acti9 series, designed to protect against short circuits and overloads in electrical installations. It is suitable for use in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. This circuit breaker combines compact size with high performance, ensuring safety and continuity of power supply.

Functionality and design features

The iC60N circuit breaker features a unique VisiTrip indicator that informs about the cause of tripping – whether it was due to a fault (red color). Additionally, the VisiSafe indicator signals an open contact state (green color), allowing for safe maintenance work. The circuit breaker design allows for easy installation and removal without tools, as well as connection of wires with different cross-sections (solid 1-25 mm² and stranded 1-16 mm²). This makes installation faster and more flexible. Energy limitation class 3 provides optimal cost of downstream circuit protection.

Application and technical parameters

The iC60N circuit breaker with characteristic B is particularly recommended for circuits with resistive loads, such as lighting or household appliances with a low surge level. Its short-circuit breaking capacity (Icn) is 6 kA at 230 V (according to EN 60898 standard), and the service short-circuit breaking capacity (Icu) is 10 kA at 230 V (according to IEC 60947-2 standard). The circuit breaker operates in the frequency range of 50-60 Hz and rated voltage of 230 V AC/DC, and its rated insulation voltage Ui is 500 V. The degree of protection IP20 provides protection against finger contact. Power losses are 2.4 W, and the embedding depth is 44.5 mm. The width of the circuit breaker is 2 modules. The ambient temperature in operating conditions is in the range of -35 to 70 °C.

An additional advantage is the possibility of mounting additional equipment, which allows you to adapt the circuit breaker to the specific needs of the installation. Explosion-proof design does not apply to this model.
