Modular contactor for remote control of loads
This modular contactor from the Acti9 iCT50 series, with a rated current of 16A and a 2NO (two normally open) configuration, is a reliable solution for remote control of various loads. It is suitable for both home and commercial installations, allowing convenient switching of lighting, small motors (e.g. in fans or mixers) and HVAC systems. The device is designed for mounting on a 35mm DIN rail and is characterized by its compact dimensions – it occupies only one module.
Functionality and technical parameters
The contactor operates at a control voltage of 48V AC, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of control systems. Its design allows for expansion with additional auxiliary contacts, increasing its functionality. The rated operating voltage is 250V AC. The maximum switching capacity for incandescent bulbs is 2000W, and for fluorescent lamps – 850VA (up to 1500VA with DUO compensation). This allows it to be adapted to different types of loads. The IP20 degree of protection provides basic protection against touch and contamination.
Mounting and compatibility
The device is easy to install thanks to the snap-on mounting system on the DIN rail. It is fully compatible with other devices from the Acti9 series, making it easier to build complex control systems. An optical indicator of the output contact status facilitates diagnostics and control of the device's operation. The electrical endurance reaches up to 100,000 cycles for AC-7A or AC-1 and 30,000 cycles for AC-7C, AC-3, AC-5A or AC-5B, which guarantees long and trouble-free operation. The maximum number of switching operations is 6 per minute.
