Functionality and application

The iID-25-2-300-A circuit breaker protects against electric shock in case of direct contact with conductive parts and indirectly through insulation damage. Its type A technology-based design provides effective detection of alternating leakage currents, which is particularly important when connecting electronic devices. A rated voltage of 230V and high impulse withstand voltage (6kV) guarantee stable operation under various operating conditions. Thanks to the possibility of connecting wires with a cross-section from 1 to 35 mm² (solid) and from 1 to 25 mm² (stranded), the circuit breaker is compatible with a wide range of cabling.

Construction and characteristic features

The Acti 9 iID circuit breaker is characterized by a compact design – it occupies only 2 modules on the DIN rail. It has a built-in locking mechanism that prevents accidental disconnection and a clear status indicator (VisiTrip) informing about the tripping of the circuit breaker due to overload or short circuit. Additionally, the presence of the VisiSafe indicator confirms the correct operation of the residual current device and ensures safety on the load side. The device meets the requirements of IEC/EN 61008-1 standard, which confirms its high quality and reliability. The possibility of expanding with additional functional modules (e.g. undervoltage, overvoltage) increases its functionality and allows it to be adapted to the specific needs of the installation. Mechanical endurance at 20000 cycles and electrical endurance at 15000 cycles guarantee the long service life of the device.
