This iCT50-25-02-230 modular contactor with a rated current of 25A is a reliable solution for remote control of electrical circuits. It finds application in both home and commercial installations, allowing convenient switching on and off of receivers from a distance. The device is designed for DIN rail mounting and is characterized by compact dimensions – it occupies only one module.

Functionality and application

This contactor, designed to operate at 230/240 VAC, has two normally closed contacts (2NC), allowing control of various devices such as small motors (e.g. in fans or mixers) or HVAC systems. Thanks to the possibility of expanding with additional auxiliary contacts, the functionality of the contactor can be adapted to the specific needs of the installation. It is compatible with Acti 9 control devices, which simplifies integration with existing building automation systems.

Characteristics and safety

The device provides effective protection of the circuit against overload and short circuit. The electrical endurance reaches 100,000 cycles for AC-7A or AC-1, and also 30,000 cycles for other loads (AC-7C, AC-7B, AC-3, AC-5A or AC-5B). Additionally, the possibility of using a padlock increases the safety of use, especially in public places or requiring restricted access.
