Protection and functionality in one device

The GV4P115S starter combines thermal and magnetic protection functions, providing comprehensive motor protection. The thermal overload relay protects against overload caused by prolonged load, while the magnetic trip releases reacts immediately to short circuits. Additionally, phase failure sensitivity increases operational safety, minimizing the risk of motor damage in the event of voltage asymmetry. The rated continuous current of 115A allows use in circuits powering motors up to 55 kW (AC-3, 400V) or 30 kW (AC-3, 230V).

Installation and parameterization

The starter has screw connections, which is standard in most installations. The adjustable overload trip setting range (65-115A) allows precise matching to the characteristics of the protected motor. The device is complete – ready for mounting in an enclosure, simplifying installation and saving time. The IP40 degree of protection provides protection against access to hazardous live parts and against the ingress of solid objects larger than 1mm.
