Advanced electrical circuit protection in a compact design

The Acti9 iDPN H Vigi residual current breaker with overcurrent protection is a modern RCBO (Residual Current Breaker with Overcurrent protection) solution that effectively protects electrical installations against electric shock, short circuits, and overloads. By combining two functions into one module, it saves space in the distribution board and simplifies installation.

The device operates at a voltage of 230V AC and a frequency of 50 Hz, providing a rated current of 16A and a C tripping curve. The type A residual current protection with a sensitivity of 30mA guarantees effective protection against electric shock during indirect contact, while simultaneously meeting the requirements of IEC 61009-1 and IEC 61009-2-1 standards regarding insulation.

Device construction

The compact design occupies only 2 modules on a DIN rail (width 36mm, height 85mm, depth 44mm) with a weight of just 125g. The durable housing provides an IP20 protection rating, which can be increased to IP40 when using a modular enclosure.

The rated breaking capacity reaches 10kA according to EN/IEC 61009 standards, guaranteeing safe interruption even of large short-circuit currents. The device is characterized by an impulse current withstand capability up to 0.25kA and an energy limiting class of 3. The operating temperature ranges from -25°C to +60°C.

Diagnostic system

The innovative diagnostic system based on a dual-part lever allows for precise identification of the cause of tripping—whether it occurred due to exceeding the residual current or due to an overload/short circuit. The Visi-Trip optical indicator (white-red) immediately signals an electrical trip, while the green Visi-Safe indicator confirms the safe opening of the contacts.

The "T" test button allows for annual functional testing during the first seven years of operation. Simultaneous disconnection of the L and N poles eliminates the risk of leaving part of the circuit energized during servicing.

Standards and certificates

The device meets the requirements of European standards EN/IEC 61009-1 and EN/IEC 61009-2-1 regarding insulation safety. The rated insulation voltage is 400V, and the rated impulse withstand voltage reaches 4kV. The environmental pollution degree is specified as category III.

Mechanical and electrical endurance reaches up to 20000 cycles, guaranteeing long-term operational reliability. Power losses are only 4.3W, which minimizes energy consumption during normal device operation.
