Schuko power socket with current-carrying conductor shutters, in beige color, is an element of the Sedna Design & Elements series by Schneider Electric. The socket is designed for flush-mounting and is characterized by compact dimensions – 73 mm wide, 73 mm high and 41 mm deep. The use of thermoplastic material ensures durability and resistance to UV radiation, which guarantees color and property retention for a long time. Rated current of 16 A and voltage of 250 V allow for safe power supply of most household appliances. The IP20 protection degree protects against accidental contact, which is particularly important in homes with children.

Construction and mounting

The socket has screw terminals, providing a solid and reliable connection of wires. Solid claws with a self-return function facilitate mounting in the installation box, and a clear connection diagram on the mechanism speeds up the installation process and minimizes the risk of errors. The arrangement of terminals in one line facilitates the arrangement of wires in the box, reducing the tension effect. It is worth remembering that Sedna Design & Elements products are not compatible with the Sedna series – frames and mechanisms from the same line should be used.
