The LVCT Modbus energy meter from the Acti9 iEM3000 series is an advanced device designed to measure electricity consumption in three-phase installations. DIN rail mounted, it offers Class B accuracy and a wide range of rated voltages (100…277 V N-L and 173…480 V L-L), making it a universal solution for both low and high voltage installations. Thanks to the RS-485 interface and Modbus protocol, it enables easy integration with energy monitoring and management systems.
This model, 5 modules wide (90 mm), is ideal for applications requiring detailed energy consumption analysis, sub-billing and network parameter monitoring. Equipped with a digital display, it presents key data on active and reactive power consumption, voltage and current. Additional LED signaling informs about correct operation, overloads and communication status.
Construction features and functionality
The meter's construction is based on proven indirect/semi-indirect measurement technology, ensuring reliability and accuracy of readings. The ability to configure external or internal tariffs allows the meter to be adapted to the specific needs of the user. A D0 type pulse output (1…1000 Imp/kWh (kvarh)) enables remote data reading and integration with building automation systems. The meter supports both energy consumption and return, which is important in applications with renewable energy sources.
The meter has 9 counter positions, allowing for accurate recording of energy consumption over a longer period of time. IP20 protection class provides protection against accidental contact, and compliance with national approvals guarantees safe use. Please note that the device does not have metrological approval.
