The Easy Altivar 610 frequency inverter is a reliable solution for controlling three-phase asynchronous motors, designed for applications in sectors such as water and wastewater management, oil and gas industry, building management, and energy. The device offers a wide power range, and the ATV610U40N4 model is designed for motors up to 4 kW, providing optimal performance with light overload (up to 120%) or even up to 3kW with higher loads (up to 150%).

Design and functionality

The inverter is characterized by a compact design with dimensions of 145 mm width, 297 mm height, and 203 mm depth, making it easy to mount in limited spaces. The IP20 protection class provides adequate protection against external factors. The built-in EMC filter of class C3 minimizes radio interference, meeting the IEC/EN 61800-3 (edition 2) standards in environments 1 and 2. This allows for trouble-free operation in various industrial and commercial conditions.

Communication and control

The device supports the Modbus communication protocol, enabling integration with automation and monitoring systems. It has six digital inputs and two analog outputs, allowing for flexible adaptation to specific application requirements. The ability to operate in all quadrants of the coordinate system expands the range of inverter applications. The rated output current is 9.3A at a supply voltage of 380 to 415 V and a network frequency of 50/60 Hz. The network voltage tolerance is ±10%, and the frequency tolerance is ±5%. The maximum output frequency is 500 Hz.
