Robust enclosure for indoor and outdoor applications

The S3D wall-mounted enclosure is a reliable solution for protecting and organizing electrical components. Made of durable steel, with a powder-coated gray RAL 7035 finish, it provides lasting protection against corrosion and mechanical damage. Its design, compliant with IP66 and IK10 standards, guarantees resistance to dust and water ingress, as well as impacts. This makes the enclosure perfect for both industrial environments and outdoor applications – although it is not intended for direct outdoor mounting.

Functionality and ease of installation

A mounting plate is included, simplifying device installation. The one-piece enclosure design and the ability to remove and reverse the door increase flexibility during installation and maintenance. The enclosure can be mounted directly on the wall or using additional mounting brackets (available separately). This simplicity and speed of installation will be appreciated by installers, while end-users will benefit from easy access to the interior when needed.

Safety and compliance with standards

The S3D enclosure meets the requirements of IEC 62208 and UL508A directives and holds LCIE and UL certifications. It is also compliant with the requirements of BV Marine Division, Lloyd's Register and DNV-GL marine standards. The maximum permissible load of the enclosure is 250 N, the door 50 N and the mounting plate 250 N. This guarantees safety and reliability in critical applications. The NEMA 4X protection rating confirms its resistance to harsh environmental conditions.
