Metal enclosures for buttons and indicators

This metal enclosure from the XAP series is a robust solution for mounting 22 mm diameter buttons and indicators (XB4 and XB5 series). Made of durable zinc alloy, it provides reliable protection of control elements in demanding industrial conditions. Its gray housing (RAL7035) blends well with most installations, and its compact dimensions (80 x 80 x 51.5 mm) allow for installation in space-constrained areas.

Design and application

The XAPD1201 enclosure is designed for surface mounting and features a single opening for installing various XB4/XB5 functions, including emergency stop buttons with labeling plates. Two sizes of label holders provide flexibility in adapting to individual needs. Four mounting holes allow installation in both vertical and horizontal positions. Equipped with two M20 cable entry holes with metric thread, ensuring compatibility with cable glands compliant with ISO standards.

Protection and compliance with standards

The enclosure offers a high level of protection against external factors – IP65/IP67 – guaranteeing tightness against dust and water. Additionally, it meets the requirements of EN/IEC 60529 and EN/IEC 60947-5-1 standards. It provides protection against electric shock of class I (EN/IEC 61140) and impact resistance IK07 (EN/IEC 62262). It has CE, UL, cULus and EAC certificates, confirming its safety and compliance with international standards.
