This safety module from the Preventa series, designed to work with emergency stop (estop) switches and safety switches, is a key element ensuring safety in machines and installations. Functionality and application

The XPSBAC14AP module has one control output, four normally open (NO) safety outputs, and two normally closed (NC) diagnostic outputs. This allows for comprehensive monitoring of the safety circuit status and a quick response in the event of a failure. Therefore, it is suitable for various industrial applications, such as:

The module meets the highest standards of functional safety: PLe/Category 4 (ISO13849-1), SILCL 3 (IEC62061) and SIL 3 (IEC61508). Compatibility with Modicon logic controllers further simplifies integration with existing automation systems. Mounting is done on a standard symmetrical 35mm DIN rail – which greatly simplifies installation. It is worth adding that the Harmony XPS Basic series is a good choice for machines with simple or medium complexity, where effective management of individual safety functions is needed.
