This 20-watt PTC resistance heater from Schneider Electric is a reliable solution for maintaining optimal temperature inside electrical enclosures, control cabinets, connection boxes and other closed spaces. Design and application

The heater is designed for vertical mounting, and its compact dimensions (38 mm wide, 98 mm high and 75 mm deep) allow for easy integration even in limited space. Made of durable extruded aluminum, it provides efficient heat dissipation and long-term reliability. It is a ClimaSys system component, designed to work with temperature controllers – enabling precise temperature control inside the enclosure. The use of the heater prevents condensation, which protects devices from corrosion and failures.

Safety and protection

The heater has an IP20 degree of protection, which means protection against touching with fingers and against the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm. This makes it safe to use even in environments with increased risk of contact with dust or small objects. Remember to install appropriate electrical protection on the supply side and to use a cable with a cross-section of 2 x 0.75 mm2 for electrical connection. Designed to operate in a wide range of ambient temperatures (-40°C to 70°C).
