RJ45 U/UTP patch cord cat. 6 PVC CCA green 5m PC-6UTPPVC-GN5
Reliable Cat. 6 patch cord for a stable network
This securityNET Category 6 patch cord is a solid and economical solution for building LAN networks. It will work well both in small offices and in larger installations where connection reliability and ease of installation are important. U/UTP construction, i.e. no shielding, is sufficient in typical network environments, and the PVC coating provides durability and resistance to mechanical damage.
Construction and application
The patch cord is terminated on both sides with RJ45 8P8C connectors, which guarantees compatibility with most network devices. Made of stranded CCA (Copper Clad Aluminum) AWG24/7 conductors, it offers good conductivity and flexibility. This makes the cable easy to lay and adjust to the required length. This cable is ideal for connecting computers, routers, switches and other network devices to create an efficient and productive infrastructure.
Key features and benefits
- Category 6: Provides a bandwidth of up to 5 Gb/s and a frequency of 250 MHz – sufficient for most home and office applications.
- U/UTP construction: The lack of shielding lowers the cost of the cable while still providing sufficient protection against interference in typical working conditions.
- PVC coating: Protects the cable from mechanical damage and external factors.
- CCA conductors: Copper-clad aluminum conductors (CCA) are a compromise between price and conductivity – they are cheaper than pure copper but still provide good electrical parameters.
- Available colors: The green color makes it easier to identify the cable in the network installation and allows for color-coded connections.
- Flexibility: The stranded conductor construction makes the cable flexible and easy to route.
- Operating temperature: The cable retains its properties in the temperature range from 0°C to 60°C.
- Bending radius: The minimum bending radius during installation is 30 mm – important when laying the cable in tight spaces.
- Outer diameter: The cable diameter is 5.9 mm, which affects its convenience during assembly and the aesthetics of cable routing.
