The unique shape of the core and the special ribbing of the body ensure effective heat dissipation during operation, which translates into stable and long-lasting reliability of the connection. Thicker walls of the housing guarantee stability on TS 35 rail and resistance to deformation during tightening of the conductors. Allen key screws with fine-pitch threads increase the clamping force, ensuring a secure and safe connection.

An additional advantage is the dedicated dust cover OSTB 300, which facilitates access to the measuring connection – a function particularly useful for monitoring the installation and checking the condition of the connections. The connector has a place for a measuring connection, allowing convenient connection of measuring devices without the need for additional adapters.

Application and compatibility

The STB 300 connector allows connection of conductors with cross-sections from 6 mm² to 300 mm² (solid) and from 4 mm² to 240 mm² (stranded with ferrule). It also allows connection of a measuring connection for conductors with a cross-section from 1.5 mm² to 10 mm² (solid) and from 1.5 mm² to 6 mm² (stranded with ferrule). Mounting is done on a standard TS 35 rail or mounting plate. The rated voltage is 1000 V AC/DC, and the rated current for copper conductors is as high as 520 A. This makes the connector suitable for installations with high current loads.
