The PIP-2AN fire junction box is a key element of fire alarm systems (FAS), ensuring the continuity of circuits in the event of a fire. Its construction and materials guarantee the maintenance of electrical functions for a specified time, which is extremely important for the proper operation of alarm and evacuation systems. This box is particularly useful where high fire resistance is required, in accordance with standards and building regulations.

Construction and application

The PIP-2AN box is designed for branching signaling lines with a conductor cross-section of up to 4 mm². Its rectangular shape and dimensions (197x103x30 mm) allow for convenient installation in various locations. Made of sheet metal coated with red powder paint, it is characterized by high durability and corrosion resistance. Inside there are ceramic blocks with terminals that provide safe and reliable electrical connections. Additionally, the box has separate terminals for the input, output of the signal line and branching – which facilitates the connection of signaling devices or other devices.

The box has an E90 electrical function retention class, which means it maintains its properties for 90 minutes in fire conditions. Installation and characteristic features

The installation of the PIP-2AN box is simple and intuitive – steel expansion sleeves and screws are used for mounting. The base of the box has mounting holes to facilitate installation on the wall or ceiling. Stepped cable glands (7-19 mm) allow adaptation to different cable diameters. The metal cover limits access to internal connections, increasing safety.
