Fire junction box for fire alarm systems

This is a robust, rectangular fire junction box from the PIP series, designed for use in fire alarm systems (SAP). Made of steel sheet coated with red powder paint, it provides not only durability but also easy identification in the installation. The box is intended for connecting wires in fire protection installations and is characterized by a high degree of protection – class E90, which means it maintains its functionality for 90 minutes in fire conditions.

The box is through-type, which facilitates the routing of cables through building partitions. It is adapted for cables with a cross-section of 10x2x4 mm², allowing the connection of multiple circuits. Inside there are ceramic terminals and a single-acting overload fuse – this is an additional protection for the installation. Separate terminals for the input and output of the signal line and a dedicated output for a signaling device or other device increase the functionality and flexibility of the system.

Construction and mounting

The box has been designed with ease of installation and convenience in mind. The cable glands are made of flame-retardant plastic, which further increases safety. The external dimensions are 286 x 114 x 30 mm (length with cable glands), and the rated voltage is 400V with a rated current of 32A. The IP20 degree of protection provides basic protection against contact and ingress of solid objects.
