Universal enclosure for indoor and outdoor applications

The SOH 180x180 hermetic enclosure from SIMET is a solid and reliable solution for protecting electrical components in harsh conditions. Made of high-quality PA6 polyamide reinforced with polycarbonate, it provides resistance to mechanical damage, UV radiation, and weathering. Thanks to its IP67 protection class, it effectively protects against dust and moisture, making it ideal for use both inside and outside buildings.

Safety and durability first and foremost

The enclosure design is focused on user safety. The material is self-extinguishing (UL94 V2) and halogen-free, minimizing the risk of toxic gas formation in the event of a fire. High temperature resistance (up to 850°C) further increases the level of safety. The durable plastic ensures long-term operation even in demanding industrial conditions.

Mounting and functionality

The enclosure is equipped with 12 knockouts for cable glands with PG16 (⌀ 23 mm) and PG21 (⌀ 29 mm) threads, making it easy to introduce cables and ensuring a tight connection. Four stainless steel screws are used for mounting, guaranteeing corrosion resistance. The external dimensions of the enclosure are 188 x 188 x 108 mm, and its weight is approximately 0.46 kg – making it easy to transport and install. This solution is suitable for installations carried out by professionals as well as for self-assembly by end users.
