The ST2 pit is designed for water supply installations where the water meter cannot be placed inside the building. The lack of a bottom in the pit eliminates problems related to high groundwater levels – buoyancy forces do not pose a threat to the stability of the structure, allowing for free meter reading without the need to pump out water. Internal and external insulation effectively protects against freezing, and the optimal location of the water meter (approx. 30 cm below the cover) further protects against low temperatures.
