Three-phase inverter SOFAR 6.6KTLX-G3, 6.6 kW, 2 MPPT, WLAN/LAN and RS485, DC disconnect switch 900.01600016-0
Compatible with external mounting and harsh conditions
The inverter has been designed for outdoor installation—its enclosure features an IP65 protection rating, ensuring resistance to dust, rain, and moisture. No additional shelter is required, simplifying photovoltaic system planning. The housing, made of stainless steel and aluminum, is lightweight yet highly corrosion-resistant. Passive cooling eliminates the need for fans—resulting in silent operation (below 40 dB) while maintaining stable performance even at temperatures ranging from -30°C to +60°C.
Two independent MPPT channels for optimal energy production
Thanks to two independent MPPT channels, you can connect two separate string configurations—e.g., south- and east-facing panels—without any loss in efficiency. Each channel supports an input voltage range of 140 V to 1000 V, with a minimum startup voltage of 160 V, enabling faster system activation under morning sunlight conditions. The maximum input current per channel is 15 A, with a short-circuit current tolerance up to 22.5 A, allowing connection of a higher number of panels without exceeding limits.
Built-in DC disconnect and surge protection
The device includes a built-in DC isolator, eliminating the need for additional protective equipment during installation. Integrated Type II SPDs protect both the DC and AC sides against surges—such as lightning strikes or transient overvoltages in the grid. Protection against reverse polarity, overtemperature, and islanding adds an extra layer of safety, especially in unstable grid conditions.
Remote monitoring and multi-communication support
Remote monitoring is enabled via WiFi (with included USB stick), RS485, Bluetooth, and GSM 2G—allowing seamless integration with the SOFAR View app or other energy management systems (EMS). Data is stored for 25 years, and the LCD display shows real-time operational parameters. Remote firmware updates simplify maintenance without requiring physical access.
High efficiency and compact design
Maximum conversion efficiency reaches 98.4%, with a European average of 97.5%—signifying minimal energy losses during every DC→AC conversion cycle. The inverter can operate at up to 110% of its rated power for extended periods—beneficial during short-term energy production peaks. Dimensions of 430 x 385 x 182 mm and a weight of 17 kg ensure easy installation even in confined spaces—such as under a roof or on a building wall.
Warranty and flexible installation
The standard warranty is 12 years—one of the longest in its class. The inverter is optimized for three-phase residential and small commercial installations, supporting up to 9 kWp of PV panels at a grid voltage of 3N/PE (230/400 V). Maximum output current of 10 A and a grid voltage range of 310 V to 480 V ensure stable operation under diverse grid conditions.
