The SDM630-Modbus energy meter is an advanced device designed for precise measurement and monitoring of energy consumption in three-phase systems, especially in photovoltaic installations with Solplanet inverters. Thanks to the direct current measurement up to 100A, it does not require the use of additional current transformers, simplifying installation and reducing costs. The device is compatible with single-phase two-wire (1p2w), three-phase three-wire (3p3w) and four-wire (3p4w) systems.
Versatile measurements and communication
The SDM630-Modbus measures key power parameters such as voltage, frequency, current, active, reactive and apparent power, as well as energy consumed and delivered. Equipped with a Modbus RTU (RS485) interface, it enables easy integration with energy management systems (EMS) and remote monitoring. Two programmable pulse outputs allow for flexible adaptation of the device to various needs. This gives installers and end-users access to complete information about the energy flow in the installation.
Reliability and compliance with standards
The meter is characterized by high measurement accuracy (class 1 according to IEC 62053-21) and a wide operating temperature range (-40°C to +70°C). It meets the requirements of the MID B+D standard, which guarantees its legalization for billing purposes. The solid construction and DIN rail mounting ensure durability and ease of installation. The device is resistant to vibration and shock according to IEC 60068-2-6. This makes it a reliable solution for both professional installers and demanding end-users.
