Power quality analyzer PQM-700 - Calibration Certificate WMPLPQM700

Advanced Power Network Diagnostics in Class S

This device is a complete solution for monitoring and analyzing parameters of 50/60 Hz three-phase networks, targeted at installers and maintenance specialists who require reliable data without investing in more expensive Class A instruments. Thanks to its calibration certificate, this model guarantees high measurement precision compliant with IEC 61000-4-30 (Class S) and the European standard EN 50160. It is the optimal choice for verifying power quality, identifying causes of failures, and conducting audits of industrial and commercial installations.

Comprehensive Measurement Range and Power Quality Analysis

The device's main advantage is its ability to record a wide spectrum of electrical quantities in real time. It measures AC voltage in the range from 0 to 760 V, enabling safe operation in typical low-voltage installations and some medium-voltage systems (with appropriate transformers). Current is measured using interchangeable current clamps or adapters, providing flexibility in range selection—from small control circuits to main distribution busbars with currents up to 6000 A (depending on the clamps used).

Analysis is not limited to basic RMS values. The instrument precisely determines active, reactive, and apparent power, along with identifying the nature of reactive power (inductive or capacitive), which is crucial for power factor correction. This enables rapid detection of inefficient energy consumption through power factor (cosφ) analysis and its deviations. The device also identifies distortions generated by modern non-linear loads, such as inverters and switching power supplies, thanks to voltage and current harmonic analysis in the DC range and orders 1–40. Additionally, the system monitors the flicker index and voltage/current unbalance factors, providing a complete picture of power quality.

Thanks to its built-in memory for 1100 sets of measurement data, the device can operate as a long-term recorder, storing event history even without a computer connection.

Operational Ergonomics and Environmental Durability

The device's construction is designed for demanding on-site working conditions. The enclosure with an IP65 protection rating effectively protects the interior against dust and water jets, allowing safe measurements in production halls or outdoors. The large 7-inch LCD display provides a clear overview of all key parameters without the need for constant screen switching, accelerating the diagnostic process.

The device meets CAT IV 300V safety requirements according to EN 61010, which is essential when working near main voltage sources. The included software facilitates data export via USB interface for further analysis and reporting. The operating temperature range from -20°C to +55°C ensures the instrument is ready for use year-round, regardless of season or measurement location.

In engineering practice, the device is particularly effective in identifying causes of cable and transformer overheating through harmonic analysis up to the 40th order, as well as detecting short-term voltage dips or current surges via the event recording function. Rapid network assessment without the need to connect a laptop facilitates work in hard-to-reach locations, while access to the calibration certificate supports warranty audits and energy settlements. The versatile set of current clamps enables measurements on both small control circuits and main power lines.

Thanks to this combination of features, the PQM-700 power quality analyzer fills the gap between simple meters and complex Class A measurement stations, offering the best ratio of diagnostic capabilities to requirements for most industrial and commercial applications.
