Construction and application

The SP22-PL.Z-12-LED.UNI\AC/DC switch is characterized by a two-position design, allowing convenient switching of circuits using a rotary knob. The LED backlight makes it easy to identify the switch status even in low light conditions. Designed for mounting in panel cutouts, it provides an aesthetic appearance and easy access. The switch designation – the first digit indicates the number of normally closed contacts, and the second the number of normally open contacts, allowing precise matching to specific application needs. This model has 1 normally closed and 2 normally open.

Technical parameters and durability

The switch is designed for long-term use in demanding conditions. The continuous rated current is 10 A, and the rated switching current in category AC-15 is 2.5 A at 230 V and 1.6 A at 400/500 V. In category DC-13, the values are: 4 A (24 V), 1 A (110 V) and 0.25 A (220 V). The mechanical durability is as high as 300,000 switching cycles, and the electrical durability – 200,000 cycles at rated voltages and currents or one million cycles for loads up to 80 VA (AC) or 10 W (DC). A wide operating temperature range (-40°C to +70°C) and high resistance to vibration and shock guarantee reliable operation even in harsh industrial conditions. The IP65 protection class provides protection against dust and water jets after mounting in a panel cutout. The cross-section of connection wires is from 1 mm² to 2.5 mm² for solid wires and from 0.75 mm² to 1.5 mm² for stranded wires. The power of the LED lamp is 1W with AC/DC power supply (24/230V or 24/110V).
