Manual fire alarm – quick response in emergency situations
The OP1 fire alarm button is a reliable device designed for manually activating a fire alarm in industrial buildings, public facilities and other objects requiring a quick response in case of a threat. Model OP1-W01-A\03-M is a surface-mounted version, equipped with three independent circuits and a supplied hammer for breaking the glass.
Construction and application
The OP1 alarm is an element of a fire alarm system, enabling manual reporting of an alarm. Its construction based on a red plastic housing (dimensions 113 x 113 x 52 mm) ensures good visibility and resistance to environmental conditions – this is confirmed by the IP65 protection class. The device is designed for wall mounting, and its surface-mounted version facilitates installation without the need to cut a groove. A hammer is included in the set, which allows for quick breaking of the protective glass and activation of the alarm.
Functionality and safety
The OP1 button of type A is characterized by automatic release after breaking the glass, which simplifies the alarm activation procedure. It has three independent contact circuits: normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC), allowing for flexible adaptation to various alarm system configurations. The possibility of connecting wires with a cross-section of 2x1...2.5 mm² (solid) or 2x0.75...1.5 mm² (stranded) ensures compatibility with typical electrical installations. The device meets the requirements of the PN-EN 54-11 standard, which guarantees its reliability and effectiveness in crisis situations. Additionally, it has a certificate of approval No. 2266/2014 and an EC certificate of conformity No. 1438/CPD/0130.
Worth knowing: When choosing a fire alarm, pay attention to the type of contact circuits (normally open or normally closed) and the mode of operation (type A or B) to ensure the correct operation of the entire fire alarm system.
