The 16A cam switch is a solid and versatile device designed for frequent switching of electrical circuits. It will work both in professional installations and in home applications where reliability and durability are required. The switch design allows for mounting on a panel or base, increasing installation flexibility.

Construction and operating parameters

The device is characterized by high resistance to environmental conditions, including vibrations, shocks and humid heat. Designed to operate in temperatures from -40°C to +70°C, making it an ideal solution even in harsh industrial conditions. The cross-section of connection wires 1.5…4 mm² ensures compatibility with various types of installations. The IP65 protection class guarantees safe use, protecting against access of solids and water jet.

The rated continuous current of 16A allows for handling loads up to 8 kW (400V AC-3), and high mechanical endurance (3 million switching cycles) ensures long-term and trouble-free operation. The switch also has short-circuit protection (conventional short-circuit current 13kA) and impulse (6kV). This ensures that the installation is safe and resistant to sudden voltage changes.

Application and installation

The cam switch is used to control electric motors, lighting, heating devices and other electrical energy consumers. The ability to choose different contact configurations (0-1 switch) allows you to adapt the device to specific application needs. Installation is simple and intuitive thanks to screw connections and the possibility of indirect or plate mounting. The tightening torque of the terminals is 1.2 Nm.
