The 15A cam switch is an element used for manual switching of electrical circuits. It finds application in both industrial installations and control devices. Construction and application
SPAMEL cam switches of the ŁK series are designed for continuous operation in circuits with a rated insulation voltage of up to 500V and a rated continuous current of up to 16A. A wide range of available configurations – from 1 to 16 segments – allows the construction of switches adapted to various applications. Thanks to the possibility of choosing different types of fronts (I, II, III) and mounting methods (to the panel), the switch can be integrated with various devices and control panels. Parameters and user features
The ŁK15-1.829\OB1 cam switch is distinguished by a solid construction and high technical parameters. The rated switching current in category AC-15 is 7A (at 500V), and in category AC-3 – 8.7A (at 400V and 500V). The mechanical endurance of 3 million switching cycles ensures a long service life of the device. Additionally, a wide range of operating temperatures (-25°C to +70°C) allows the switch to be used in harsh environmental conditions. The possibility of connecting wires with a cross-section from 1.5 mm² to 4 mm² facilitates integration with the existing electrical installation. The degree of protection IP41 (with the panel) or IP65 (depending on the front used) provides protection against touch and external factors. The tightening torque of the terminals is 1.2 Nm, which ensures a stable connection of the wires. The short-circuit withstand current Icw(1s) is 0.5 kA and the short-circuit making current Icm is as much as 2 kA.
