Universal cam switch for disconnecting and controlling circuits

This three-pole cam switch, designated ŁK16R-2.829\P04, is a reliable device designed for the mechanical switching of electrical circuits. It finds application in both industrial installations and public buildings where frequent changes in circuit status are required. Construction and application

The cam switch is characterized by a segmented construction with double cams, allowing for the configuration of any switching program depending on the position of the drive knob. Versions with a knob rotation angle of 30°, 45° or 90° are available, providing the possibility of choosing the optimal number of knob positions (up to 12). The device is designed to operate in enclosed spaces with a contamination degree of 3 (industrial application) in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +70°C. It can be used as a switch, disconnector, switch or control switch.

It will find application wherever manual circuit switching is needed – from simple lighting installations to more complex machine and device control systems. Its solid construction and high resistance to environmental conditions guarantee long-lasting and trouble-free operation.

Parameters and user features

The device meets the requirements of PN-EN60947-3 and IEC 60947-3 standards, confirming its safety and reliability. It is adapted to work in difficult environmental conditions – resistant to vibrations, shocks, damp heat and salt mist. The continuous rated current is 16A, and the rated switching power for AC-3 is 8 kW at 400V. The IP65 degree of protection provides protection against dust and a stream of water with respect to the mounting panel. The cross-section of the connecting wires is 1.5…4 mm², and the tightening torque of the terminals is 1.2 Nm. The mechanical durability of the device is as much as 3 million switching cycles – which proves its high quality of workmanship and long service life.

The continuous rated current is 16 A, the rated switching power AC-3 (at 400V) is 8 kW, and the rated conventional short-circuit current is 13 kA. The degree of protection is IP65, the operating temperature is in the range of -40 to +70°C, and the permissible cross-section of the connecting wires is from 1.5 to 4 mm². The device is also characterized by high mechanical durability – as many as 3 million switching cycles.

The switch has a yellow-gray knob and a red front, making it easier to identify and operate. It is supplied as a complete device in OB2 housing with a closing front – ready for mounting and immediate use.
