Functionality and application

The OA1-W01-A\20 button is equipped with two normally open contacts, which means that after breaking the glass, the button is automatically released (type A). This simplifies the alarm activation procedure and minimizes response time. The protective glass prevents accidental activation while enabling quick action in an emergency.

The dimensions of the button are 113 mm wide, 113 mm high and 52 mm deep, allowing for easy integration into existing infrastructure. The button is designed to operate at 24V DC for LED signaling. The materials used ensure long-lasting and reliable operation of the device. The housing is made of plastic, and the degree of protection is IP65 – protection against dust and water jets. The button operates as type A – automatic release after breaking the glass and has two normally open contacts. Additionally, it is equipped with protective glass. It is possible to connect wires with a cross-section of 2× 1...2.5 mm² (solid or stranded). The rated insulation voltage U i is 500 V, the continuous rated current I u=I th is 10 A, and the rated switching current I e in category AC-15 is 2.5 A (230 V) / 1.6 A (400/500 V), while in category DC-13: 4 A (24 V) / 1 A (110 V) / 0.25 A (220 V).

Remember to replace the fragile element (glass - order number PPOŻ-5701) after each alarm activation to restore full functionality of the device. The included labels "Emergency Door Opening" and "Emergency Switch" allow for correct labeling of the station.
