Air and dirt separator – protection of heating and cooling systems

The Spirocombi 1 1/2 inch air and dirt separator is a reliable device designed for continuous separation of air, microbubbles and solid impurities from heating and cooling media. Its construction, based on the principle of gravitational separation and the use of a strong magnet, provides effective protection of the pump, heat exchangers and the entire system against corrosion, cavitation and reduced efficiency. The installation is universal – the separator can be installed on horizontal, vertical or inclined pipelines.

Construction and operating principle

Spirocombi utilizes a special internal construction that forces impurities to settle into the collection chamber. A built-in neodymium magnet further captures magnetite particles, increasing the cleaning efficiency. The device is made of high-quality brass, which guarantees durability and corrosion resistance. A rotating flange facilitates adaptation to the existing installation, and a 1 1/2 inch internal thread ensures a tight connection. An automatic air vent removes accumulated air from the top of the device.

Spirocombi is an ideal solution for both new installations (installation on the supply is particularly recommended) and modernized heating/cooling systems (installation on the return is preferred). The device allows you to keep the installation in optimal technical condition for a long time, minimizing the risk of failure and ensuring comfort of use. The maximum operating temperature is 110°C with a maximum pressure of 10 bar.
