This flat-folded delivery hose, with a diameter of DN52 and a length of 20 meters, is a key element of every fire protection system. Construction and user parameters
The hose is characterized by a solid construction, based on a round-woven braid made of durable polyester yarn. The inner liner made of PVC provides a smooth surface, minimizing pressure losses and facilitating water flow. Aluminum couplings guarantee tightness and a durable connection to the hydrant or other installation elements. This makes the hose resistant to mechanical damage and weather conditions.
The hose design ensures adequate water flow for extinguishing fires – the inner diameter is 52 mm (with a tolerance of +/- 1.5 mm). The length of 20 meters is optimal for most hydrant applications. The safe working pressure in standard fire protection systems is 1.5 MPa, and the high resistance to sudden pressure surges guarantees a bursting pressure of 4.5 MPa. The ability to use in a wide range of ambient temperatures (-30°C to +60°C) and the relatively low weight of the hose with couplings (5.2 kg) facilitate maneuvering during fire fighting operations.
