Universal mounting solution for water filtration systems

The DN25 drinking water filter flange is a professional mounting component from the German brand SYR, designed for the installation of filtration systems in water installations intended for contact with drinking water. The device enables standard mounting of the DRUFI+ series filters and other compatible devices such as the SaoCal bypass valve or SAFE T. devices.

Application and system compatibility

The flange construction allows for mounting on both vertical and horizontal pipelines, providing installation flexibility in various water system configurations. The element is equipped with two connections - an inlet and an outlet made as screw connections, enabling easy connection to the existing piping system.

The flange is an integral part of the DRUFI+ system, where it can be used with both FF and DFF mechanical filters, as well as with FR and DFR filters equipped with backwashing. In the case of FR and DFR filters, it is possible to equip them with an electronic automatic flushing device at the factory.

Material construction and operational resistance

The flange body is made of low-lead bronze - a material characterized by high resistance to corrosion processes and natural resistance to zinc leaching, which ensures long-term stability of the installation's hydraulic parameters.

Low-lead bronze guarantees the maintenance of connection tightness throughout the entire service life and resistance to changes in medium temperature, while simultaneously meeting the safety requirements for contact with drinking water.

Operating parameters and monitoring capabilities

The device operates at a maximum working pressure of 16 bar, making it suitable for most domestic and medium-sized industrial installations. The maximum operating temperature is 30°C, typical for water installations intended for food contact.

A special design feature is the two G 1/4" ports, standardly equipped with protective plugs, which allow for the connection of a pressure gauge to monitor the water pressure at the filter supply. This functionality allows for continuous monitoring of the filtration system's operating parameters and rapid diagnosis of any hydraulic problems.

Overall dimensions and available configurations

The element is standardly available in size DN25 (1 inch), which corresponds to the most popular dimensions used in domestic water treatment systems. The flange belongs to a family of elements also available in other sizes: DN20 (3/4 inch), DN32.

Within the DRUFI system, different types of flanges are available: universal (the subject of this description), a clamping flange for pipes with a diameter of 28mm, and a specialized HWS 2000 flange designed for domestic water treatment stations.
