Safety valve 2115.15.154 is a diaphragm protective device intended for safeguarding pressurised systems filled with liquid, steam or gases — as specified in the higher‑level data. It operates as an automatic relief valve, opening at a pressure of 4.5 bar to prevent damage to the installation in case of failure or improper operation of the heating unit.

Construction and functionality

The housing and internal parts are made of brass, providing corrosion resistance in humid and aggressive environments. A spring made of spring steel coated with a galvanic coating maintains a constant opening setting — it cannot be altered accidentally during installation. The diaphragm and seal are made of a material resistant to high temperature and ageing, allowing safe operation at a maximum temperature of 110 °C.

The valve features a seal above the diaphragm with a venting option — facilitating air removal from the system without disassembly. The entire upper insert can be unscrewed for cleaning the seat — a practical service solution that extends the device’s lifespan.

Application and operating conditions

The valve can be used in installations with water, steam, gases or other non‑sticking substances — without limitation to a single medium. Installation is recommended vertically, with inlet from the bottom — only then does the diaphragm operate as designed and prevents improper medium flow.

The set pressure of 4.5 bar is one of the available levels (4–10 bar), suitable for systems with medium working pressure. According to the manufacturer’s data, the valve can also be used in installations with water‑glycol mixtures — up to a maximum glycol content of 50 %. The PZH certification confirms its compliance with safety requirements for heating devices.
