Protection of heating systems from overpressure

Safety valve 2115.15.156 opens automatically at a pressure of 7.0 bar to eliminate excess pressure in closed water installations. It is mainly intended for protecting domestic hot water heaters, but can also be used in other systems with non‑freezing liquids — including water with glycol additive, provided its concentration does not exceed 50 %. Maximum operating temperature is 110 °C — guaranteeing operation even in case of thermostat failure or boiler overheating.

For the installer – simple installation and compliance with practice

It is installed in a vertical position, with inlet from the bottom — the standard configuration for boiler and accumulator safety groups. The threaded connection G 1/2" (DN15) allows direct connection to typical protective sets without the need for additional adapters. A setting of 7 bar is typical for residential systems with an accumulator up to about 300 L and a radiator capacity up to 30 kW — consult the catalogue selection table depending on tank volume or heat‑exchanger power.

For the user – reliability without maintenance

The valve requires no servicing or regular checks. Its operation is purely mechanical — the diaphragm reacts solely to pressure difference, not to temperature or current. The seat cannot be replaced in this model — if damage occurs, the valve must be fully replaced. Model 2115N, which has a replaceable stainless‑steel seat, is a separate version and does not apply to this product.
