The YKXS 0.6/1 kV power cable is a solid solution for transmitting electrical energy in industrial plants, power plants and local power supply networks. Construction and application

YKXS cables are distinguished by the use of cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation, which translates into better electrical parameters, lower weight and dimensions compared to traditional cables with polyvinyl insulation. The conductors are made of soft copper wires – available in various classes: RE (single-wire round), RM (multi-wire round) and SM (sector multi-wire). The insulation of the conductors is colored, in accordance with the PN-HD 308 standard, and in YKXS cables with 0.6/1 kV there is a green-yellow protective conductor. Twisted insulated conductors form a core, which is protected by a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) coating in black – other colors are also available on request.

The permissible ambient temperature during cable operation is from -30°C to +90°C. The cable weight is approximately 515 kg/km. The outer diameter is 14.9 mm.
