The YKXS 0.6/1 kV cable is a proven choice for transmitting electrical energy in demanding conditions. Designed for both industrial applications, power plants, and local power supply networks, it ensures effective and safe operation. Its construction allows for durable installation indoors, in cable ducts, and directly in the ground.

A key feature of YKXS cables is the use of cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation. This solution translates to better electrical parameters, lower weight, and dimensions of the cable compared to traditional solutions with polyvinyl insulation. This cable is available in a version with four cores with a cross-section of 50 mm², making it ideal for applications requiring higher current capacity.

Construction and application – solidity at every level

The cable construction is based on flexible copper wires, available in various classes (RE, RM, SM) according to PN-EN 60228. The cores are insulated with cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), and their colors comply with PN-HD 308. The YKXS 0.6/1 kV cable also includes a green-yellow protective core. Twisted core bundles are protected with a black polyvinyl (PVC) jacket – other colors are also available on request.
