Construction and properties

The key to the durability of the YKXSżo cable lies in its carefully engineered design. Copper conductors, available in a cross-section of 16 mm², are made from round or sector-shaped wires, ensuring flexibility and ease of installation. Insulation made from cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) provides excellent electrical properties and high-temperature resistance—with a maximum conductor operating temperature of 90°C. The protective conductor in green-yellow (in the "żo" version) further enhances installation safety. The entire assembly is enclosed in a chloroprene PVC sheath, protecting against external environmental factors and providing flame-retardant performance in accordance with standard PN-EN 60332-3.
