This YnKXSżo 0.6/1 kV power cable with a cross-section of 5x150 mm² is a robust solution for transmitting electrical energy under demanding conditions. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, in cable ducts, and for direct burial in the ground. Ideal for installers executing projects in industrial plants, power stations, and local power networks.

This cable offers high reliability and durability thanks to the use of flexible copper conductors and cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation. Cross-linked polyethylene provides superior electrical properties, smaller dimensions, and reduced weight compared to traditional PVC-insulated cables. Additionally, the outer sheath made of rubber-grade PVC ensures resistance to mechanical damage and self-extinguishing properties, complying with standard PN-EN 60332-3.

Cable construction and design

The cable is designed for ease of installation and long-term operation. Its structure includes:

• Conductors: Made of flexible copper strands (RE, RM, or SM – in accordance with PN-EN 60228), ensuring flexibility and ease of routing.
• Insulation: Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) – guarantees excellent dielectric properties and high temperature resistance. Conductor insulation colors comply with PN-HD 308, and the protective conductor is marked in green-yellow (in YnKXSżo 0.6/1 kV cable).
• Core: Stranded conductors form a compact core, providing stability and protection against moisture.
• Sheath: Made of rubber-grade PVC in black color – protects the cable from external factors and ensures abrasion resistance. Cables in other colors are available on request.

Special applications and modifications

The manufacturer also offers specialized cable versions tailored to specific requirements:

• YKXSżo-O / YKXS-O: Oil-resistant cables – designed for environments exposed to petroleum-based substances (e.g., fuel stations). The sheath is made of special oil-resistant PVC.
• XnKXSżo / XnKXS: Halogen-free cables – provide enhanced fire safety due to low smoke emission and absence of corrosive gases during combustion. Ideal for applications with heightened safety requirements.
• Armored cables: Additional mechanical protection provided by round steel wires or steel tape – recommended for installation in areas subject to mechanical stress.
