Tehalit.BRP is the base of a PVC channel, constituting an element of the Tehalit electrical installation system by Hager. This channel, with dimensions of 65x100 mm, is designed for aesthetic and safe routing of electrical cables inside buildings. Its versatility makes it suitable for both new installations and the modernization of existing facilities. Made of high-quality polyvinyl chloride (PVC), it ensures durability and resistance to mechanical damage.

Construction and characteristic features

The Tehalit.BRP channel is characterized by its rectangular shape and white color (RAL 9016), which makes it easy to match various interiors. The channel length is 2000 mm, allowing for efficient coverage of larger installation sections. Mounting perforation in the lower part facilitates mounting the channel to the substrate, and the presence of a connector allows for connecting several segments into one continuous system. Additionally, the channel has one cover with a width of 80 mm (available separately), which protects the cables from dust and moisture. The IP40 degree of protection guarantees basic protection against the ingress of solid objects larger than 1 mm.

Application and benefits

The Tehalit.BRP channel is ideal for routing electrical installations in dry and enclosed spaces, such as offices, apartments or public buildings. Its useful cross-section of 5300 mm² allows for the free routing of a large number of cables. The method of cover mounting from the inside ensures an aesthetic appearance of the installation and easy access to the cables if necessary. A protective film on the surface of the channel prevents scratches during transport and installation. The symmetrical design allows for universal use of the channel – it can be mounted with either the right or left side facing up. Impact resistance IK07 provides resistance to attempts at mechanical damage. The operating temperature range from -5 to 60°C allows the channel to be used in standard operating conditions.
