Flame-retardant power cable FLAME-X 950 (N)HXH-J FE180/E90 3x2.5 RE 1kV G-144661
Fire-resistant power cable FLAME-X 950
The FLAME-X 950 (N)HXH-J FE180/E90 cable is an advanced solution designed for installations requiring increased fire resistance and ensuring continuous power supply in emergency situations. It is a halogen-free cable with low smoke emission, ideal for use in places with increased fire risk, where the safety of people and the protection of property are a priority. This cable is used in alarm systems, fire protection systems, emergency lighting, and other critical installations.
Construction and properties
This cable is characterized by a solid construction ensuring reliable operation even in extreme conditions. Made of copper conductors, available in class 1 (solid) or 2 (stranded), insulated with a special cross-linked halogen-free compound. The additional filling layer is made of a flame-retardant halogen-free compound, and the outer sheath is made of thermoplastic HM4 material, which provides high resistance to mechanical damage and weathering. The sheath color is black, and the conductors are identified by colors according to DIN VDE 0293-308, HD 308 S2 or EN 50334.
This cable has CNBOP and VDE certificates, confirming its compliance with applicable safety standards. It ensures circuit continuity for at least 180 minutes at 750°C (IEC 60331-21) and operation of the cable system for at least 90 minutes (DIN 4102-12). Additionally, it meets the requirements of PN-EN 50200 Annex E – maintaining function for 90 minutes.
Applications and benefits
- Fire protection: Ideal for installation in public buildings, industrial facilities, hospitals, schools and other places requiring a high level of fire safety.
- Safety systems: Ensures reliable operation of alarm systems, fire protection systems, emergency lighting and smoke dampers.
- Halogen-free: The absence of halogens in the cable composition minimizes the emission of toxic gases during a fire, increasing the safety of users and facilitating evacuation.
- Low smoke emission: Reduces visibility during a fire, making rescue operations easier.
- Wide temperature range: Possibility of use at temperatures from -40°C to +70°C (after installation) and from -15°C to +70°C during installation ensures reliable operation in various environmental conditions.
- UV resistance: Allows the cable to be used outdoors without fear of material degradation due to sunlight.
- Conductor resistance: For a cross-section of 2.5 mm² the conductor resistance is 7.41 Ohm/km – important information for electrical installation designers.
- Reaction to fire class: B2ca according to PN-EN 13501-6:2019-02 – provides an appropriate level of protection against the spread of fire.
The FLAME-X 950 cable is an investment in the safety and reliability of the electrical installation, which will meet the expectations of both professional installers and end users.
