Modern solution for heating and water systems

The Wipex 90° threaded brass tee is a key component in Ecoflex pre-insulated systems for constructing hot and cold water networks as well as low-temperature heating installations. The element enables the creation of branches in PE and PE-Xa pipe installations, ensuring reliable connections between individual branches while maintaining full system tightness.

Materials and workmanship

The tee body is made of high-quality corrosion-resistant brass according to the DIN EN ISO 6509 standard, which guarantees long-term resistance to corrosion processes and dezincification typical for water environments. Each of the three connections is equipped with a cylindrical BSPP-G female gas thread (ISO 228-1) with a nominal diameter of 4 inches (100 mm), allowing for standard threaded connections.

Sealing is achieved via O-ring seals mounted between the Wipex body and individual modules, as well as between transition nipples and fittings. The mounting kit includes a stainless steel hex bolt and a brass nut and washer - all elements designed for maximum connection durability.

Performance characteristics

The element operates at a maximum working pressure of 6 bar at a temperature of 20°C, maintaining full functionality up to a temperature of 95°C. The fitting has a standard Dimension Ratio of SDR11, ensuring optimal mechanical strength while maintaining installation flexibility.

The tee is compatible with the entire range of Uponor systems: Thermo, Varia, Aqua, Quattro, and the Supra series (Standard, PLUS). It enables the creation of threaded connections for PE and PE-Xa pipes terminated with a cylindrical external thread - an ideal solution for modernizing existing installations as well as constructing new heating systems.
