Solution for complex district heating nodes

The Ecoflex connection manhole is a complete component of the pre-insulated system designed for the construction of extensive distribution nodes in district heating networks and heating installations. The design accommodates eight service pipes with diameters ranging from 140 to 200 mm, allowing for the implementation of multi-level crossings and branches at a single access point - without the need to excavate the entire main pipeline.

The housing made of polyethylene (PE) ensures tightness as well as resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage. Inside, there is thermal insulation made of EPDM rubber (monomeric ethylene-propylene-diene), which effectively minimizes heat loss at pipe connections - crucial in long-distance heating lines.

Connection methods and configuration

The manhole offers two connection configuration variants: type T (branch) and type X (crossing), providing flexibility when designing network routes with different geometries. Reducers included in the set allow for adjusting the diameters of the service pipes to the current needs of the installation - from the full 200 mm dimension down to smaller cross-sections.

Load capacity and operating conditions

The maximum allowable load is 500 kg, allowing for installation even under surfaces with moderate pedestrian or vehicular traffic. The manufacturer provides the possibility of increasing the load capacity through special structural solutions - the decision rests with the installation designer depending on the target installation site.

The manhole is delivered as a complete, factory-assembled set, which guarantees repeatable connection quality and shortens execution time on the construction site. Overall dimensions (approx. 940 mm outer diameter, 760 mm inner diameter) and a unit mass of 54 kg determine the selection of lifting equipment during installation.
