Uponor RS Multilayer Pipe Adapter – a reliable installation element

This S-Press 25-RS2 adapter from Uponor is a key element of the RS system, designed to connect multilayer pipes with threaded fittings. Made of dezincification resistant brass (DZR) with a zinc-plated surface, it guarantees long-lasting and trouble-free operation in heating and water installations.

Design and application

This adapter combines a compression sleeve (connection 1) with an outer diameter of 25 mm with a threaded connection (connection 2) with a length of 41 mm. The simple design ensures easy installation, and the precise working dimensions of the connections (13 mm for both sides) guarantee tightness and reliability. The brass material of connection 2 is additionally protected by tin plating, which increases its corrosion resistance. The adapter is designed to operate at a maximum working pressure of 10 bar. The total length is 75 mm.
