Construction and application

The Uponor S-Press Plus reducing tee is characterized by a solid construction made of PPSU – a material resistant to high temperatures and pressures. It has crimp sleeves that ensure quick and reliable installation using S-Press Plus technology. The tee's design has been optimized for flow, minimizing pressure loss in the installation. This makes it ideal for use in both drinking water and central heating installations.

• Drinking water: can operate at temperatures from 0°C to 70°C with a maximum pressure of 10 bar, and short-term loads up to 95°C are not a problem.
• Heating: the tee will withstand a constant temperature of up to 80°C at a pressure of 10 bar, and short-term temperature spikes up to 100°C are permissible.

In addition, the steel crimp sleeve with inspection hole and the unique crimp execution indicator facilitate quality control of the connection. The built-in leak test indicator allows for quick verification of correct installation.
