The PPSU reducing tee is an integral part of the S-Press Plus system, characterized by high reliability and ease of installation. Made of PPSU (polyphenylsulfone) – a material resistant to high temperatures and pressure, guaranteeing long-term operation. Using this tee allows you to change the pipe diameter in the installation, which is useful when connecting devices with different hydraulic requirements or when adapting existing installations. It can be used in both drinking water and central heating installations.

• Compatibility: fully compatible with the other elements of the Uponor S-Press Plus system, ensuring trouble-free installation and integrity of the installation.
• Durability: PPSU material is characterized by high chemical and mechanical resistance, which translates into a long service life of the tee.
• Safety: the maximum working pressure is 10 bar at a temperature of up to 70°C for drinking water and up to 80°C for heating, ensuring safe operation. Short-term temperatures may be higher – 95°C and 100°C respectively.
• Quality control indicators: equipped with a steel clamping sleeve with an inspection hole, a unique clamping execution indicator and a leak test indicator – facilitating control of correct assembly.
• Easy identification: clear diameter marking facilitates quick identification during assembly.

Construction and assembly

The PPSU reducing tee has three socket connections, enabling quick and secure assembly using S-Press Plus crimping tools. The connection lengths are 51 mm (for 32 mm connections) and 44 mm (for the 20 mm connection), and the working lengths are 23 mm for all connections. The assembly process is three-stage, ensuring a precise and reliable connection. Additionally, the presence of a QR code enables quick access to product data online.

Using this tee requires the use of appropriate crimping jaws dedicated to the Uponor S-Press Plus system and following the manufacturer's assembly instructions. A properly made connection guarantees the tightness and durability of the installation for many years of use.
