Uponor S-Press Plus elbow – reliability and durability of connections

This is a socket elbow dedicated to Uponor S-Press Plus multilayer pipe systems, made of high-quality dezincification-resistant brass (DZR) and protected by tinning. It provides a durable and tight connection in water and heating installations. A 90° bend angle makes it ideal for changing the direction of the pipeline.

The elbow is characterized by precise workmanship and fit to the S-Press Plus system, which guarantees easy and quick installation. The use of DZR brass ensures corrosion resistance and long-term reliability, even in harsh operating conditions. Tinning of the surface further protects against external factors.

Construction and application

The elbow has an outer pipe connection diameter of 20 mm and a connection length of 37 mm. The working connection length is 16 mm. The elbow's construction has been optimized for flow, minimizing hydraulic resistance. It can be used in potable water installations (up to 70°C at 10 bar pressure), heating (up to 80°C at 10 bar pressure) and cooling systems. The maximum short-term temperature is 95°C for potable water and 100°C for heating.

The fitting has a fixed steel clamping sleeve with an inspection hole, which facilitates control of the correct connection. The clamping execution indicator and leak test indicator further increase the certainty of correct installation. The elbow is fully compatible with other components of the Uponor S-Press Plus system, allowing for the construction of complex and reliable installations.
