Uponor S-Press PLUS fitting – reliable connections

The Uponor S-Press PLUS internal thread fitting 32-Rp1"FT is designed for creating durable and safe connections in water and heating installations made of Uponor multilayer pipes. Made of high-quality dezincification-resistant brass (DZR), it ensures long-term reliability even in harsh conditions. Its construction, based on the proven S-Press PLUS crimping technology, guarantees tightness and ease of installation.

Construction and characteristic features

The fitting is characterized by precise workmanship and a number of features that facilitate installation and ensure reliable operation:

• Internal gas cylindrical thread BSPP-G (ISO 228-1) with a diameter of 1 inch (25 mm) – allows connection to installation elements with an external thread.
• Dezincification-resistant brass (DZR) – this material provides high corrosion resistance and extends the life of the fitting. Both connection 1 and 2 are protected by tinning.
• Steel crimping sleeve with inspection hole – allows visual control of the correct crimp execution, minimizing the risk of leakage.
• Precise crimping jaw fit – guarantees a secure grip on the pipe and a tight connection.
• Crimping indicator – makes it easy to assess whether the crimping process has been carried out correctly.
• The fitting length is 58 mm, and the lengths of the individual connections are 25 mm and 33 mm, with a working connection length of 5 mm each.
• Maximum working pressure at 20°C is 10 bar.

Application and compatibility

The Uponor S-Press PLUS fitting is used in:

• Potable water installations: Can be used at temperatures from 0°C to 70°C with a maximum working pressure of 10 bar. Short-term maximum temperature is Tmal = 95°C.
• Heating installations: Suitable for operation at temperatures up to 80°C with a maximum working pressure of 10 bar. Short-term maximum temperature is Tmal = 100°C.
• Connections of Uponor multilayer pipes with an outer diameter of 32 mm.

The fitting is fully compatible with other components of the Uponor S-Press PLUS system, allowing you to create complex and reliable installations. Additionally, it has a QR code that provides easy access to technical data and installation instructions using a smartphone or tablet.
